Please slow down and be safe , we lost a fellow driver this week out of 6866 who apparently forgot to set his brakes. Was crushed between the trailer and dock from what I have heard.

If you can breath through your nose, then using a nasal pillow with your CPAP machine will be less intrusive and more comfortable.

Below is an image of the nasal pillows I use. It is called Swift FX nasal pillow with Bella loops. It has been much more comfortable than using other masks, especially a full face mask.

There is a startup company named Airing developing a micro CPAP device that is wireless and hoseless. It is expected to be available by summer 2017. I am an investor and member of the research panel for this device offering my input on making this device DOT compliant. Below is an image of the Airing micro CPAP prototype being tested.

That is so sad to hear. Prayers to the driver and family.

Definitely best to take ones time and no need to rush. As said by our safety department here in Sealy recently "It is better to lose a minute in life than to lose a life in a minute".

I was already setup with a CPAP machine before coming to work for Walmart. I have not used their program for the CPAP or any supplies. I buy all mine online through CPAP.COM and just get reimbursed through my medical insurance. I would think you could get preferred supplies through Walmart's program. Someone else who is already using Walmart's program could better answer how their experience has been.

If using a CPAP mask, you definitely need it to be comfortable, otherwise it will be counter productive and keep you awake more than the sleep apnea. A lot of the full face masks put too much pressure on my head and face, plus they leaked during the night and the escaping air would wake me up. The mask I use now is more lightweight, comfortable, and stays in place very well. I just clip the hose to my shirt to keep it from pulling on my nose.

Wow that's crazy sorry to hear that man. To this day I still check them valves twice even when I'm out of the truck I jump back in and do a quick tug and check them again sometimes.
