Wayner, that was a downgrade, not a suspension. Your answer of NO is correct based on that situation you described. Many states are having issues with keeping these records updated promptly.

Sorry I must have missed it. As far as making hard right turns, I would do anything to make the turn without curbing the tire. So yes take the other lane if needed.

You need to get a letter from your DMV stating what happened. I was at Walmart for 6 weeks when I got called into HR and was told I had falsified my app. Said I had a suspension on my MVR. my state sends out a notification letter 3 months before your certification runs out. Says you have to have new certificate by certain date. The company that Walmart uses to do MVR checks took that to mean that my certification had run out on that date. I WAS FIRED!!! Went on line in HR office, showed him no suspensions, no revocations. He said the decision had to be made by bentonville. Went to DMV, got letter explaining what happened and faxed it to HR. 3 o'clock. 4 hrs later, get call from HR apologizing like crazy. They knew they had screwed up. Next morning, get conference call from Vice President of transportation/eastern U.S., RTM and HR in bentonville. Says policy will be changed. Innocent until proven guilty. Paid me ADP for the week off. You gotta CYA - cover your ***drvrtech77, drozzer69 and TomOfTx Thank this.

The whole situation involving ones medical certification attached to your CDL license has been a mess in many states since it was implemented in the past 2 years. Some states better than others, but still ridiculous in many. No reason the FMCSA should make ones paper copy of your medical certification invalid after 15 days when many states are taking weeks/months to update their records.
I agree with noninetofive about checking your record in your home state. In general, any "suspension" relating to your medical certification will downgrade your license to NON-CDL, but does not restrict you from driving any non commercial vehicle like a normal license suspension.drozzer69 Thanks this. -
Thank you very much, all of you are much appreciated for answering my questionsdrozzer69 Thanks this.

On the right turn I was told not to enter the other lane to make the turn else I'd fail by my safety guy but I guess it depends how severe a turn it is
