Yeah. I noticed no change either when our region had started it.
TomOfTx Thanks this. -
Yesterday was Ricks first day on the optimizer. So far so good. His first load of the week was what took the longest. Other than that, they sent him loads for 2 days.
TomOfTx Thanks this. -
Ya I'm sure it will be back to normal by next week.

The optimizer made sure I stopped at New Braunfels to raid the hot dogs 4 times today within 7 hours before finally sending me down to the valley. Full belly and wallet. Life is good.

Ok so here we go... In April of 2015 I received a email alert on a position for a driver at the Grantsville UT DC. I applied on line and thought it would be a long shot but what the heck. I knew that Walmart is the apex of trucking companies to work for but it's also hard to get in. Well I've been struggling with my trucking life and getting so burned out with flatbeds and all the heavy labor associated with them, that I needed to find something we're I could call home. So my wife and I got down on our knees and prayed to our Heavenly Father that something would be shown and a path would be provided. The very next day out of the blue Walmart called for an interview. I passed. Then they wanted me to road test. I was so nervous to do that because I needed this change so badly. I passed and was told by my examiners that I was the 2nd only person to get a perfect score in the 10 years that the dc was there. To me that was divine intervention. After that I was sent to drug test and do a physical. Today I received a final offer and my start date is October 19th. So from April to October is my time frame. I feel like I'm coming home and looking to start a new beginning.

Jwithrow, trucku, grabberblue12 and 4 others Thank this. -
I do have a couple of questions because I have only briefly gone over the compensation aspect.
1. What is layover? Is that the time we spen in the sleeper on our 10 hour break?
(I'm also a pilot working on my commercial license so layover has a different meaning to me)
2. I have a CPAP now and will I need to get an inverter and if so how would slip seating work for me? -
