I have motions wake-up gestures turned off, which uses a lot of power making the watch display light up when you raise your arm, as well as waking up the watch. I also set mobile networks to auto, which will only turn on when out of bluetooth range of my phone. I set the watch to not display notifications if my phone screen is currently on. Also, I turn off WiFi and GPS and pause the step counter on S-Health. As a result, I usually get 3-4 days battery life with the battery dropping less than 1% per hour. Of course, if I am away from my phone and connected remotely for more than 10-15 minutes at a time, it will begin to consume more power, which happens several times a day, but still gives me 3-4 days use per charge. I have been very pleased with the battery life and only have to recharge the watch maybe one time during my 5 day work week. :)

Thanks. I'm not as nervous about the pretrip\road test as I was for the phone interview. Kinda weird huh? I'm sitting up in a hotel room in Clearfield watching football and reading over my hazmat notes to pass the time until tomorrow. The BBQ at the truck stop east on the 322 is what keeps going through my mind right now. Good or bad?

    It is GOOD!

I hear ya, the driving test/pre-trip should be the easy part, it is what we do. The phone interview nerves make more sense to me! Keep us posted and it sounds like you'll be ok.

If I remember correctly, doesn't the hours in training account against the on duty hours for that week? I know that's what I recall from my orientation, they told me to go home for the weekend and come back on Monday.

    drozzer69 Thanks this.

Once again I would like to thank the people that posted words of encouragement and especially to the people at the Woodland DC for being so nice and welcoming. I recieved a conditional offer and dont think i could be happier. It will honestly be a pleasure working with you all. Amazingly my blood pressure was excellent when I did the physical. I did tell the nurse that it was good that she didn't check it a few hours ago right after the testing!!!!

TomOfTx, drozzer69 and demi Thank this.
