The Katy terminal has six day cabs. two dedicated to Sam's account, one on the Port division, one on the Macy's account(that is the one I drive), one for general freight locals, and the last is a spare. On the Macy's account, I run 16 local stores in the Houston area. It is required to have doubles to be on the account. Four stores take pups so its easier to run two in one trip then two separate trips.

Soon that will all be behind me though.:yes2557:

Well I just got a email from Walmart letting me know that they have pushed out my classes start date to June 3rd. They are still waiting for one drivers paper work to come back so looks like my vacation just got moved to Memorial Day Week. *sigh* I guess for Knight it gives them another week to find someone and set them up with me to get trained to run this position.:tongueSTARS8:

I did. They do it on your first interview, after you pass the 9 question part of the interview and after you pass the pre-trip inspection. The road test wasn't hard. Same as any other company. Hook up, backing, local streets, highway, and one heck of a tight turn here in TX. I do believe that safety has different runs for very interview so that it is not the same for every person.

Rugerfan, are you thinking of applying?

Sounds good. Get the miles you would need to meet the minimum requirements. Once you get that, then start applying.
