Thank you WW! If I think giving up 3 weeks with my current employer is the worst thing, it should be a good move.

I did my interview and passed, the lady that interviewed me said I'll probably get a call next week from Pottsville, fingers crossed baby. -
Yoy get all kinds of deferred holidays/safety days in you first year, bank some and you can have 2 weeks after 1 year. The safety bonus is easily attainable and is 500-700 bux or so. You will get used to the work schedule and make good money.
BackIsSore and Joeyd Thank this. -

I can't answer for other drivers, but my husbands check is consistent within a few hundred up or down. Remember that you are being paid for miles and for activity. So it will vary. Even when slow, they will find ways to keep their fleet busy. It may not make sense to you, but they do not want unhappy drivers because they get sent home when slow.
Also, due to safety days and deferred holidays, we took a week vacation before he even had his first year in. For us, getting paid full ADP for vacation / holidays was worlds better than the 3 weeks of vacation that he had at his X job, which was paid at about 1/3 to 1/2 of what he made on an average day. There, you used all three weeks vacation to be able to afford to actually take 1 week of vacation.grabberblue12, noninetofive and BackIsSore Thank this. -
