Walmart here I come!

I am in Clarkesbutg WV currently lol
Md, de, nj, ny to include upstate and Long Island ,pa, va, nc, ct , nh , me, sure I left something out lol. Lot of Pottesvile and Tobyhanna

 

I'm actually cool with that I guess primarily because I'm from Delaware but you know how it is, it's nice to get a change of scenery and stretch your legs once in awhile. I know I'll be fine with whatever comes comes down the pike. All day long all I see going the other way is Wal-Mart trucks

There will be weeks you get out and weeks you stay close. I have a good FLW that normally gets me out of town every week. Running out of Crawford today and empty back to Crawford in the morning 266 miles . Time to get some sleep lol

 

Day 3 of orientation complete. Wow! An absolute TON of information! Left Cullman and I am now back in Lagrange to finish up. Got my driver number today and the new hires I met in Alabama and the drivers who run out of there are some really awesome dudes and so was the safety manager Dennis Bailey, he was a lot of fun to be instructed by for two days and he answered a bunch of our questions and so did other drivers, they really seemed to flock to us newbies and were only too glad to talk with us and help us out I really believe I'm going to love it here!!!

Spoke with the HR clerk today and she informed me they are possibly still waiting to hear from my current employer and the final word from home office. So we still wait...

 

It'll be so worth the wait Smoker, just hang in there the waiting drove me partially nuts too, but your time is coming.

Thanks Joeyd! It's pretty exciting I can tell you that. Those other new hires were as thrilled to be here as I am and as we all are. It's been really cool I'm glad I had to drive 3 hours up there and another 3 back, seeing as I am going through it alone so to speak. Meeting them was a highlight of the process for me and I hope to run into them again in the near future.

 

I'll tell you it seems to be a real "FAMILY"atmosphere there from what I've been reading and who wouldn't want that, you know how it is in the other trucking companies, obnoxious ignorant and self centered. Reading your story and other like it is a breath of fresh air.
Smoker I wanted to call Bentonville so bad today but I am trying to let this process happen naturally unlike in the past. I'm hoping for a good experience from beginning to end. How long have you been waiting?
