Jim, up until 1996, I lived up in the Northeast (MA & CT), and never in my life did I ever like wearing long sleeves! You could just go for the Larry the cable guy look and cut them completely off!![]()

Man I'm gone for a couple of hours working and ya'll are blowin up my thread! Lol :ust for those who are intrested, Sealy will be openning for applications again in Oct. Sealy is also a doorway for drivers as well. They hire hear and transfer out in a year. Now that its past my bed time, I'm going to sleep.
Thank you to all the drivers who read, comment, and follow this thread. I never thought it would get this far. Keep it going gang! -
Yeah, I need to hurry up and start on Tuesday so I can get some rest! Even since I was given the final offer 10 days ago, I have not wanted to go to sleep at my normal time at night. I have been awake filled with excitement and anticipation.

I have a good friend at UPS Freight who wanted to apply for Sealy during this last time the job was posted, but was preoccupied with his mom being ill. He is ready to apply the next go around. Will be good for him as he lives close by in Katy. -
i will be too if the others aren't hiring .... sealy sounds more up my alley than Pottsville im more of a warm weather kinda guy
-
Matt (drozzer69) works there at Sealy, as will I as of this Tuesday. You can certainly get easy non-stop flights from Houston to Tampa, FL anytime you want. I know, because I have a lot of family in the Tampa area that I have gone to visit. Definitely plenty of warm weather here.... too warm for my liking this time of year....but will be a bit nicer about a month from now!

works for me i can wait until October. if i make the cut that is definately doable for me,glad he made that post. i use to run all over texas and the valley for back hauls when i was otr. gets pretty toasty down that way this time year that is for sure. actually that wouldn't be bad at all for me my sister is moving to Houston around the 1st of the year so id have a free place to stay,if there was times i didn't feel like flying home on my off time.

Man, I can relate to that Tom! Ever since I got the CALL for the first interview I couldn't sleep, not one night, til orientation. First night after the first day of class I crashed. I'm sleeping better now than EVER in my LIFE. Hang in there, you'll get to sleep soon LOL. And cutting off the sleeves isn't a bad idea...hmmm...TomOfTx Thanks this.

Thanks Jim that makes me feel a lot better. Brandon called Bentonville Friday to speed me up. If you got one and your in then I should have no issues as well, I never even bounced a check in my life. I know I was the last one to interview on the last day of interviews, then that new paperwork never came through email and that was a hold up. I should be joining you on the 9th.

Sure hope so, once and for all. I thought my process was lengthy. Definitely glad I got in when I did. But look at the bright side, you will probably get your uniforms before I do...LOL!
