Well guys I pass the road test and the whole 9 yards now the waiting game starts lol I was told a start date after the first of the year is likely

Possible orientation dates in January would be the week of the 11th or 25th. This is actually a good thing starting out after the holiday madness is over.

 

got the call today to start orientation Dec 14th. Can anyone tell me if they email or mail the formal job offer? I got a conditional offer back on Nov 19th. Just wondering? Thanks

 

Sammy J, you should receive a New Driver On-Boarding letter in the mail from the HR manager at the DC you will work out of that gives you a complete itinerary for your orientation.

Not just waiting on the email so I can do my criminal background check

 

I have finished two very productive days working for WalMart. I have been busy, busy, busy and at the end of the day I am burnt and eagerly looking forward to my 10 hour break. I'm finding my way and when I am unsure I ask questions. This really is a great job and career and I like it here very much already. The day passes very quickly for me on account of my being so busy. Some of the Neighborhood Markets are pretty tight and a bear to get into, especially when the traffic is heavy, but I enjoy the challenge. Looking forward to the time when the job is more 2nd nature to me and I don't have to think each step through as much as I have to now, but I am getting better each day and whatever mistakes I make, I work hard at not repeating them, but all in all I'm having a great time I look forward to going to work the next day, and I am very glad to be a driver for the Private Fleet.

 

Congratulations Woodenleg and Sammy J......I can't wait either counting down the days til my Dec 28th orientation! And Ron G sounds like fun I'm looking forward to learning everything too!
