    Glad it wasn't just me! I usually have no problem just going to sleep until recently. I think you are right that I will sleep better after orientation starts. So much of the Walmart experience I have yet to see, and that is what is keeping me awake with excitement induced insomnia! :)

    I am packing my bag now and will head to the hotel in Sealy tomorrow afternoon. Tuesday is so close now! :)

    Rob, once you are finalized, the long delay will likely be forgotten. That is what happened to me once I received the final call. :)

    You're gonna be info-bombed during orientation. I can't believe you have just four days! Mine was 5 11 hour days and there were four of us. You're gonna need a lot of coffee or Mountain Dew, LOL. Congrats and enjoy!

    TomOfTx Thanks this.

    For you guys worrying about the credit report part of the process. I emailed driver recruiting asking if they ran a credit check this was there response. No. They sign the Fair Credit reporting act form which authorizes the background check in which we also verify the correct SSN.

    The below statement was copied from the electronic background check form I completed. I do not believe any credit check in terms of a credit score check, such as if applying for a loan, was ever done. My credit report does not show any recent inquiries tied to Walmart.

    The background check report may contain information about your character, general
    reputation, personal characteristics, and mode of living. The types of information that
    may be ordered include but are not limited to: social security number verification;
    criminal, public, educational and, as appropriate, driving records checks; verification of
    prior employment; references checks; licensing and certification checks. The information
    may be obtained from private and public record sources, including personal interviews
    with your associates, friends and neighbors. You may request more information about
    the nature and scope of any background check report by contacting Wal-Mart’s
    Associate Vetting Team at (800) 348-1931, Option 2. A summary of your rights under
    the Fair Credit Reporting Act is also being provided to you with this .

    Well I've ran every report known to man on myself just to make sure everything checks out like its suppose to of course it did. Just had a couple more concerns one being if my employer would verify my info, heard that has been a problem for drivers . I called safety director today super nice and helpful. She said she would hate to lose me but she would totally understand . She said I'm in the million mile club and she would verify that with anyone that called . I didn't expect a problem but its good to know . I'm sitting at 1063000 as of today . The 2 Nd was this company has automatic trucks so I was concerned about the road test since its been 12 years since I've driven a 10 speed . How's this for luck my company truck broke down Friday had to get a rental this morning and low and behold its a 10 speed. I guess its like a riding a bike all came right back to me . So now I'm good to go can't wait for an opening in my areas.
