I'm in my 10th year driving for one of the Union LTL companies and the one thing that catches my attention from reading this thread is how happy everyone is with their job with Wal-Mart, something that is sorely lacking with my current employer. I'm patiently waiting for one of several DC's to put my application in.

 

This is my 29th year driving a truck, 16 as an owner operator. I've never been treated better, period.

 

I have been with a union LTL company for almost 11 years and could have come to walmart a year ago but the benefits scared me. I still enjoy reading the posts on here. My wife needs excellent benefits. I still question my decision at times, but it is what it is. Everyone be safe out there.

 

First day down and so much info my head hurts lol

 

But not as scary as everyone who's never worked here makes it sound right? lol. This will be your looooongest week and most challenging to stay awake! How many are in your group?
