LOL, nah, but it was LIKE being snowed in. Surprised my wife put up with me that long. I didn't even WANT to go out, but with the zero-restrictions policy I didn't have a choice. Very glad to be back! First week back was awesome, love this job! Actually looking forward to going back after my weekend.

I called Bentonville today. The lady told me that you have to have an address within the DC area AND your CDL has to show that address, the day you start.
I guess I will watch the WM website every day and act fast!
    Thanks Marv

When I hired in, I lived 360 miles from the distribution center. I was told when I hired in that I would have to work at that particular distribution center for at least a year. I was there for about 4 months when they changed the policy about drivers living within 250 miles of their home domicile. They let me transfer to a distribution center that is 30 miles from where I lived. I gave up my assigned truck to go on the extra board, but I'm thankful to be closer to home without that long drive!

Got the gout really bad and had to call off for tomorrow, just got some steroids from the doctor. I'm worried about the call off only being here 7 months but my board coordinator seemed like I wouldn't catch any flack, anyone ever have to call in sick yet?
