I heard this one the other day and figured you guys would like the chuckle:
A Walmart driver (friend of a friend of a friend) got hit by a car. His phone records were pulled and he was fired for receiving a text from his wife the night before while he was off duty. Now, I'm not sure but it seems a bit far fetched.
Walmart here I come!

While on the drive line 10 minutes max at a time, with no more than 60 minutes total.
When not on the drive line, you can talk as much as you want. With what you are doing driving for Walmart, there is plenty of opportunity to talk. For example, when waiting for live loads or live unloads. When your empty isn't ready at a store. When you are camped out at a water place. When on unscheduled time, for any reason. 30 minute break, etc.drozzer69 and cableguy9508 Thank this. -
Most Walmart loads are drop and hook.
We did the walmart cheer in the room with the dispatch windows.
There seemed to be many Walmart drivers that died in their sleeper. They would park their tractor in the front of the DC with flowers hanging all over it for about two weeks
I drove Class A from 1970 through July 2011. I have never worked in any store.Last edited: Mar 21, 2016
