Same here and we keep bringing more new hires with no more additional trucks. I don't mind working only 4.5 days a week since I still have to drive a bit home. It's a nice change from going home at 11pm.

The cameras are already installed on the small fleet (ice cream) trucks. I haven't heard a firm timetable for them to be installed in the tractors yet. It certainly appears they are coming in the near future though.

Our safety guy who is a pretty genuine guy says cameras are not happening.
They can be just as bad as good for the company . They can put a forward facing one in anytime they want . I run my own 24/7 it's my own insurance . Already come in handy a couple of times.

Had a motorist complaint and after safety reviewed the video it backed up everything I said.

I have a question about the Walmart DOT phisical. The Co. I drive for now require new hires to pick up 50 lbs and carry it down the hall, put it up on a table, etc.
That is only for new hires, if you are in for recert you don't have to do that.
What is Walmart's policy on new hires?
    Thanks Marv35

Thanks, I could do it, but glad I don't have to! Put in an app awhile back for St James,Mo and got a call to setup a interview, I thought about the long drive home ( 242 miles) and past. Yesterday Hopkinsville,Ky came on the website and that is only about 100 miles from home.
I put in the app. And will wait for a call.
    Thanks for the info..
