    What's the scoop on the Palestine, TX DC?

    What's the good, bad and the ugly?
    How's the freight? Programs? Etc?
    What's the culture?
    What area does that DC service?
    Any hints/suggestions for acing the site visit (pretrip, driving test, interviews)?

    Any information about this DC is appreciated, as all the previous help has been!

    I'm really excited about the opportunity!

    I just hope I haven't forgotten how to drive a truck by the time I test! (I'm taking some time off.)

    Palestine runs a good portion of North East Texas from Madison ville over to Center, up to Paris and all of Southern Dallas area over to Taylor. As far as programs, same as most DCs. The culture is about the same as any other also. That's about all I know.

    Well State TDC is done. We have one driver representing our State for Nationals in Sleeper class! I placed Second on Straight Truck. Missed out by 3 points. Looking forward, I think I'll give it a go again next year.

    I'm waiting for a load right now.Over 2 hours now.At least I've donated my 45 minutes and now I'm making my big $14 hour now.Is this 1990? I made that back then and didn't have to give 45 minutes off the clock before I got paid.I wish I made $ 9300 per hour like our CEO Carl! I'm sure I'll get a 75 mile load soon so I can either head to a live load or a grocery D.C.Sure glad they hired more drivers at my D.C.!
