Very true.Right now I just started my day.I'm headed to a vendor that is about 3 hours away for a live load. They don't open until 7:00. Then I have another live load about 45 minutes away.Another day of donating my time. When I am sitting in the dock or waiting for a load I'm on duty.I only go off duty if I'm on my own personal time.I won't sit there off duty so I have hours to go haul groceries or sit in another vendor dock for nothing later. I really don't care what my adp is.I gave up on that a long time ago.

Can someone please walk me through the "air brake leak test" Walmart requires for the in-cab part of the pre-trip. I have my pre-trip and road test on Monday AM.

I do the same thing, even on duty while showering at the DC. Hard to get more than 5 days of work out of me after that. I'm not playing games with my hours if they can't keep me running all day with all this dedicated gypsy owner/ops running out the yard with loads while we sit in the breakroom.

Besides, anything ever happens to you while getting loaded or etc you'll have a much easier time resolving things being on duty than off.

Do all 4 required brake tests as they test different components and/or systems. Also pull ahead slowly tractor only and stop to test the brakes and again with the trailer using only the Johnny bar. Also with parking brakes set try to pull ahead to test parking brakes.

I agree 100 percent. I guess that's why my gtm won't even acknowledge me most of the time. I told him at one of our ddc classes 3 or 4 years ago that I wasn't going to lie on my logs. He wanted drivers to be off duty when we were unloading groceries. I'm sure a lot of drivers do that because they drink the blue koolaid and because they are greedy.I just keep to myself and do my job. I don't donate or volunteer for anything so Wal-Mart can get a tax right off or make the news about how great of a company they are. Has your Navigo been taking you on real dumb routes lately? I've been on roads lately that I wouldn't drive my personal vehicle on.

They do. It's just better to have a driver in each category. At the Wal~mart rodeo, it's every driver for them self on any cat. Houston was 102 participants. State was 72.

On a GR route last week it was taking me through neighborhoods with low wires just to save two miles vs the freeway. Kind of hard to review the route it has picked also with all the lag time zooming out before giving it a try. I'll usually review it on my phone first if I'm not familiar with the area. Never trust Jill. She's lies like all other women lol.

That's claim denial suicide if one of the associates ever goes crazy pulling a skid off the truck and crushes you. Imagine explaining why you're off duty. I know there's plenty here that take corners too, but when Walmart hired me, they told me to do things by the book and I'm not going to let them down after seeing how they'll be quick to correct you when you screw up.

Navigo system did an update a month ago. The problem is it took out a lot of the modifiers that were put in. If you see a problem report it.
