There will be no holiday compensation under the new pto. Unless your just referring to how many hours you would earn if you take it off.

According to the brochure safety days are separate from PTO. As for holiday I've heard they are trying to figure out a way to compensate for working a holiday. Hourly associates get time and a half, salaried no compensation, we don't fall into either category.
grabberblue12 Thanks this. -
Not saying you're wrong, but brochure also said subject to change.

No mention of safety days being in addition to PTO days in the brochure I received back in January. No mention of safety days at all in the brochure. The HR manager here in Sealy is who confirmed to me that earning safety days would be in addition to PTO days.
I have been on medical LOA and not up to date on every recent change happening. Has there been any push back from drivers at grass roots meetings directly pertaining to the new PTO program? I could see where working a holiday and not being able to get paid for the holiday in addition would create a situation where there is less incentive to volunteer and work on a holiday. I always would defer the holiday pay to use later, so it wasn't a big deal to me. -

No problem. I am more curious if there were different brochures in different regions more than anything.
