There will be no holiday compensation under the new pto. Unless your just referring to how many hours you would earn if you take it off.

According to the brochure safety days are separate from PTO. As for holiday I've heard they are trying to figure out a way to compensate for working a holiday. Hourly associates get time and a half, salaried no compensation, we don't fall into either category.

No mention of safety days being in addition to PTO days in the brochure I received back in January. No mention of safety days at all in the brochure. The HR manager here in Sealy is who confirmed to me that earning safety days would be in addition to PTO days.

I have been on medical LOA and not up to date on every recent change happening. Has there been any push back from drivers at grass roots meetings directly pertaining to the new PTO program? I could see where working a holiday and not being able to get paid for the holiday in addition would create a situation where there is less incentive to volunteer and work on a holiday. I always would defer the holiday pay to use later, so it wasn't a big deal to me.

The drivers PTO brochure one Walmart One says safety days are in addition to PTO days. I understand that at the grassroots in Bentonville it came up about holiday pay.

I looked at the ones on WalmartOne. They are the same as what I received in the mail. Unless you are looking at a different brochure, I honestly do not see any reference to safety days anywhere in the brochure as it pertains to PTO. Do you by chance know what page it was on? Maybe I overlooked it and need to put my glasses on! :)

No problem. I am more curious if there were different brochures in different regions more than anything.

And with technically mo paid holiday as it will be part of the pto there is no incentive to work the day before or after neither. You will have nothing to loose as you do now.

I know it's already affected the warehouse side with this. 4 th of July DC 6096 Johnstown. Had 3 workers show up. They wen almost 4 days behind due to that.

It should be interesting as it unfolds.
