Walmart here I come!

As long as you correct it before they do their background check your fine. You will have an opportunity at each step to correct things you forgot. Up til you sign your hard copy application at the DC, even then if something pops on your record they will contact you and ask about it. We had one guy that was supposed to be in my orientation that forgot something and all it did was delay his start for 2 weeks, they put him in the next orientation.

I know they did background check probably where they got info but my company never made it aware to me

 

The safety guy deliberately .. violated my friends privacy..
Walmart has a policy clause that protects you .. saying that inappropriate disclosure of another person's or confidential information is grounds fo misconduct...we don't work for a government or state agency...we are not children nor are we teenagers... my friend told me he rents a room and didn't want his mail going to the house he rent because he might not get his mail.. so he had it sent to a ups store... Walmart took his mailing address as his residential address and did a truancy and said he lied...he's going thru a divorce so he can't stay with his wife.. if you ask me I think he can sue and win.. they got the money..

 

It's a difference between lying and not volunteering information... you do have a right to protect your privacy...once again I agree that it's not Walmart business ..by law you can have a residence and a mailing address..

 

Seems to me, if he'd been upfront about it, told them what he was doing, there'd be no issue. But to have it found out later doesn't look good.

What is the amount required for a new guy? Will you still get the safety days and holidays?
