I've heard that many recommend putting in applications at as many locations as possible to better your chances at being hired. And I don't mind relocating if I need to. My only problem would be the cost of moving. Does anyone know if walmart offers any assistance with relocating? Not that I expect them to. I was just curious so I know whether I can apply to dc's other than the one's in my range. Smyna, de is the only one hiring right now that's in my range. I live just 10 minutes away from sutherland, va dc so that would be the ideal one for me.
Walmart here I come!

No relocation assistance is given to new hires. Assistance is given if you are transferring to a new building that is opening. And those are few and far between. The days of big growth in number of DCs is past. There'll be some growth in Grocery DCs , but not many more GM DCs will be built.
Apply to any DC you wish. Just be prepared to have residence within 250 miles on the first day of employment.creeder86 Thanks this. -

No wonder old timers complain about the quality of drivers at wm going down. You guys are telling those who don't drive with professionalism that Walmart is looking for all the secrets to pass the test.
