Be sure to check YOUR email. Even spam folder. My husband got a text from Arkansas that they were unable to reach an employer and asked his help. You could call and ask if everything been recd yet and tell them about uncooperative previous employer.

Congrats! Glad he made it. I had my road test on 8/18 and orientation start date was 10/17. Be patient, it'll all happen soon enough, I truly am blessed to have been hired by 6009, Mt Pleasant, IA. Good miles and plenty of activity. But above all that are the people. Support and respect is unlike I've ever had. The competence at every position is unbelievable. Lowest amount of years in our office is 19 with Wal-Mart, several with 30+. Had a chili cook off last Friday, I never saw so much food in my life. And then they expect us to work. Lol. Don't get me wrong, far from perfect, but I'm ready to slow things down after 17yrs of flatbed and 8 yr of refer. I'll work less, and legal, and make more with plenty of benefits and perks. Like 20% off my Verizon bill. We're in the country so that's my internet connection, so that is saving me $60 a month right there.

I hope you listened to the uniform folks when they told you to get them roomy. :D

They feed you................. frequently................ and a lot. They look for reasons to feed you.

So here is the deal... I got the message that I'm eligible for hire but I have no clue how much longer this is gonna take and the carrier I'm driving for currently is starving me. I'm making no money and I'm running out of savings. What would happen if I go drive for another carrier during this "waiting for Walmart" process?

Possibly nothing but I don't think it would look good. Then how cooperative is the employer your about to bail on going to be with paperwork needed by Walmart?
I would ride it out just my opinion.

Not yet. Has anyone called you about anything?

And wouldn't he have to update resume, including fill in job, therefore requiring more background checks, thus delaying things more?

    grabberblue12 Thanks this.
