XFM2013, how is your relationship with your managers where you work now?
I left my job with UPS Freight over 3 years ago to come to Walmart Transportation, yet I am still in contact with my old Ops managers even today. I gave up a Monday-Friday line haul job to come here for the potential to earn more at the expense of more time away from my wife and kids. I may have felt a little burned out too, but it may have been more just being bored with the same routine each day. If given the chance to make the same decision again, I would not have left my previous job. The friendships I had with management at UPS Freight were genuine as shown by how I have the same relationship today as when I was a driver there even after being gone for over 3 years.
The ability to make a good paycheck and operate within the law 100% of the time is what you will see here. The time away from home and relationships with those you work with may be the X factor you will want to consider carefully.
Walmart here I come!
