Most of the prescriptions I was taking were on the walmart $4.00 list. I did get put on a new one and it was $ 50.00 . That was only $ 10.00 off the price with no insurance.

I was talking about prescriptions cost. The health insurance high. I'm lucky and only pay for myself.

It's the deductible and the max out of pocket that kills me.
ArmyDrew, georgear1084 and Hotrod81 Thank this. -
I went from paying 150 for 3 months supply at my old job to 530 now. They won't even cover one of my prescriptions. It's a little disheartening.

I understand how you feel.

Also, if not already doing so, check online with the manufacturer of any drug you are taking for discount coupons. Many brand name drugs offer either zero or reduced co-pays for their medications if you sign up for one of their discount cards. Two of my current meds that would normally cost me $260 a month are now costing me $25 a month with the two discount cards I use (one is free and one is $25). The nice thing is that even though I am only paying $25 a month for these two meds, $260 a month is being counted towards my out of pocket maximum by the insurance company since they are not involved in the discount I am receiving. These two meds eliminate $3120 from my $6850 maximum out of pocket for the year, yet I am only actually paying $300. This is one way to shrink these large out of pocket expenses!
I know everyone wants cheaper insurance and prescriptions, me included. I cannot complain too much about the costs right now considering Aetna paid out nearly $200,000 for all the surgeries and medical care I had in 2015, yet I only paid about $8500 for insurance premiums for family coverage, deductibles, and out of pocket expenses.drozzer69, georgear1084, NCdriver and 2 others Thank this. -
I applied on 1/01/17 wonder how long will it take too maybe get phone interview. also Im 37 years old with 12 years otr. just scared alittle about my job history. last 4 years i have been a owner operator leased on too several companies im mean several. what do yall thk. zero accidents no out of service or log violations. and a couple of mirror tickets(got busted in the windchester rest area for a no parking zone woke up to a va trooper banging on door. wrote me a ticket. i really didnt see the sign 3 trucks in front of me with double arrow. he wrote all of us.) and was bobtailing out in the country side just left from getting new brakes and drums all the way around the truck. light caught me off guard. I wasn't speeding and nobody was coming so i eased on threw too keep from jabbing the brakes hard. there was a dot officer in a parking lot from a distance that saw me. just me and him out there. that are almost 3 years old in a couple of months and one speeding in a workzone on my psp report. just for the record i was going the speed limit. i saw a big gator in the left land and speed up 5mph to let other truck get behind me cause there wasn't time for him to get in front. and didnt see ohio trooper until it was too late. 65/60. thks
