really depends on your former employer(s). As soon as you go home and authorize the background checks, they get on it. My employer was contacted the next day, AND sent the required info immediately. Mine as very quick also. I only had one employer to contact, and they were very cooperative in the process. You'll get your call, relax, and light a cigar, crack a beer. Congrats. You may have a little wait while they do this with everyone else in your "class", after I got the call (about 2 wks after "post offer checks completed", it was 2 months before my orientation started (from road test date to orientation date). I'm not saying that's the norm, just saying it could be a while, or it could be rather quick. I can't stress enough how each D.C. is different.

 

Yes, thanks, my employer I think was quick also, only 1, I'm just nervous cause need police report for something that barely involved the truck I was driving , but was fatality, so they need it, my company didn't even request police report cause we had no damage, but getting it from the cops has been a nightmare, could take 20 days, ugh...thank you everyone for your support!

I gave my old job two weeks.

 

Make sure you have the job offer in hand and a date for start just to be safe good luck
