How's that? Everyone retiring? We have over 200 drivers and hardly enough trucks sitting long enough for our extra board to jump in for a day.

What's the best way to pack for split-seating? I was thinking about a couple of big suitcases. One for bedding (sheets, blanket), pillows, Second one for clothes. contacts, cpap. Small one for shower.
was looking at something like this - https://www.amazon.com/Delsey-Lugga...=1486012311&sr=8-13&keywords=30+inch+suitcase

Also does the trucks have a door by the sleeper to put in a 4" mattress topper? Would make it easier then trying to get it in the regular door.

I went to Walmart got me a 32in duffle for 22.00, put my clothes in it, carried my clean bedding in my clean laundry bag, a small duffle for shower, a small duffle for gloves and etc, brief case for paperwork. If I had to swap mid week It took me 30-45 minutes to swap, with cleaning truck and moving.

We're a west coast dc that keeps adding drivers but no trucks. Only trucks we get are ones to replace old trucks. New guys are dying to get on a program just to have some type of truck for an entire week. Must be nice while those of us still have to pay our dues nearly 2 years later!

Mine paid his dues for 2 years and 9 months. He was so excited to get a truck so quickly. It used to be up to 8 years.

Many DC's work hard to try to keep a driver in a truck all week. I'm sorry if yours doesn't. However, maybe you shouldn't sound so bitter all of the time.

    Prd783 and Woodenleg Thank this.
