when I applied at a certain dc. i was pretty quick on the draw and im was #50 on the list. the longer u wait the longer ur name grows. call hr monday ask them if you wanted to put in for ftp dc how far down the list would you be. they will tell u.

 

Those guys interested in Fort Pierce Florida remember that they will take transfers before they hire anybody and a lot of the older drivers with Jordan in the cold weather state like to transfer down to state where it's nice and warm weather get it within a few years to retire

 

When out with your mentor, does the mentor drive or the new driver? does the new driver get the miles or just adp?

 

Usually 1st two days the mentor drives, then you drive and do everything last 3. You get paid your regular mileage/activity pay, mentor gets his adp. You'll be in a motel each night, some mentors stay in the truck, some double up the motel room.

 

Follow up here, you'll get paid your mileage/activity pay even when he's driving.

I was under the impression that they give current drivers the opportunity to transfer first. Then if they do not get enough transfers they will place it on the website to hire new people. Is this correct?

 

Kinda off but if it goes on the website and someone puts in for a transfer then they will take a transfer first

 

I drove all 5 days. There just there to show you the paperwork and obc. He gets payed his ADP. You get payed regular driver pay. You will go yo the hotel every night.
