So Extreme can dig up post from over a year ago? I'm proud of you. Slipseating still sucks.

There's rules against leaving trucks dirty, but you'll find out we have plenty of trucks filthy on the inside or the drivers don't take out all their stuff. Anyone that leaves their bedding on a truck that you'll be in for a week should just use their fueling gloves to remove it.

Your DC should have a form for you to share with them the condition that you receive the truck in. Check off all that applies, and there is even a good sized space for more comments. Enough poor scorecards on same trucks, will get someone talked to about it. You can also go out to the truck before you have driven it, inspect it, and go back into DC and say you cannot drive it. Any truck that is left so full of stuff that you cannot safely store your stuff, is s safety issue. Nothing is to be left loose to knock you in the head in an accident.

That would be nice, your husband is lucky to have a D.C. Who looks out for drivers like that.

We have to go complain to someone that already has 500 other things going on, so Johnny's pig pen is the least of their concern.

You've never heard of the "Sundown rule?". There's a reason that there is a chain of command.

Hahahahaha!!!! If Walmart actually stuck to its guiding principles formed many years ago while Sam Walton was alive, they wouldn't be the EEOC's biggest customer today and be facing dozens of lawsuits every day! You have to either be very naive or a major league brown noser to think these guiding principles are still in place. Sounds good, but the proof is in the pudding. The job is better than most, but the days of it being among the best truck driving jobs available are in the rear view mirror and quickly disappearing from sight.

I have my own experience with many high level managers in Bentonville. Just as dishonest as the average politician. If they were not, I would not be offered a six figure dollar amount to settle my case against them with the EEOC.

Any driver who is always willing to say yes and never hold the company responsible when their actions violate the law, you will be fine here. Otherwise, keep a trust but verify attitude. There are flawed humans here just like everywhere else.

I guess you would have to work out of my DC, and maybe you would have different feelings? You would also have to meet my GTM, and maybe you would have a different outlook? I'm sorry you're so bitter Tom, but you have failed to make me feel any different than I do. Brown nose.... I think not, just treated very well, and with the same respect that I have for ALL associates. Have a good night.

You are confusing being bitter with describing the truth of actual events that occurred. I would not be surprised if you are treated well at your DC. The issues I describe are what occurred at the corporate level, not just at the DC. I hope you never experience the same, considering the DC jumps whenever Bentonville says so. I did not look for trouble, it came to me. I just choose to not let any corporate bullies in Bentonville stop me from holding them accountable for their actions. This way future drivers do not face the same illegal actions towards them.

All this aside, it does not stop me from doing the job any different than someone who did not experience the same.
