Walmart here I come!

I've been here 6 months and am on pace to make 96k my first year. It will take me 2 more years to dig out of the hole I'm in from not changing my 8 to 5 Monday through Friday job sooner.

 

ikr thats why im trying to stay on pace and hope to get hired soon. my hole is getting deeper and deeper working a $16.25 hour job

 

If this don't work out for you, seriously look into LTL or food service. Some of those jobs will pay you even more than here and will hire you much quicker than Walmart hires a driver.

The work will be a little harder, but you'll always be able to put food on the table and then some.

 

I think this is good. Need to be flexible.

 

i work loca 3rdl now 50 hours at $16.25 no o/t. its just my income. me wife 3 kids. i hate being poor every week

 

FXF, Estes, ODFL, R&L and Saia all pay near 30 an hour after 2-3 years. If you don't get the call here, trust me there are other decent paying trucking jobs. Don't just stay where you're at if it's not paying the bills.

 

I asked this morning about using reserved parking. There response was we are not with you and don't know the circumstances if you have to do so then do it.

well second day of orenation and you guys weren't lieing there so much info there giving you. my head is still hurting lol but I must say I'm very happy with my choice here at WM. everyone has been so nice. now i see what everyone has been saying about WM feeding there drivers been 2 days now they had a 2 cookouts then Thursday there having a quarterly BBQ. if they keep this up I will out grow my uniforms before they get here .lol
