but laying all jokes aside. why does the hiring process take so long. 3/1 applied 13 days later had phone interview and passed. it's been 3 weeks and still no 2nd call to set up pretrip and road test etc. i must have caught ones eye if you call for a phone interview. now let me either pass or fail dc stuff. its like the dc is putting a driver pool together or something. just don't understand why it takes weeks and weeks. anyone have any real insight and no bull

 

You can dress nice all you want but when you can't pretrip a truck, grind gears and take 6 times to throw it in a hole the guy who dressed casual will get the job every time.

 

I'm guessing they passed on you and forgot to call.

even if you passed the phone interview and the recruiter said he was sending my info to the dc I choose. can they still pass on u before pretrip etc day.

 

Anyone know why the Sams DC in University Park, Illinois closed down? Was surprised to drive by and see it empty. Its right down the street from the Petro/Pilot truck stops in Monee, IL off of I-57

 

Wow, been a while since I've been out that way. No idea. Did they get the new exit ramp open on north end of industrial park?

 

Yup Stuenkel Rd. Exit.... That was much needed with all the congestion off the Monee-Manhattan rd exit with the Truckstops and all the new warehouses being built up.

 

dont know myself but it must have been closed pretty quick. they were in business like 3 weeks ago
