I talked to one of our guys on a 6/3 and he said he wasn't turning off his clock for nothing, was bragging about having almost 4 full days off every week. Will be the first one complaining about the changes to come also. I definitely think 7/7 are gone and pretty sure set runs are going to be cut back.

It's just one dc considering that according to our gtm. It's a very small one with not many trucks or drivers. Our dc is steady posting 5 day assigned trucks.. programs are strictly the discretion of the GTM.

    Ironhead2542 and drozzer69 Thank this.

We received 3 growth tractors from 6012. Looking to have a driver capacity of 177.

Yea they do the same thing at my dc. I only go off duty for my 30 mintue break. I don't ride the clock. I usually have 5-7 hours left on my 70 on the 6th day. But I know guys who will show up 2 hours early for work on there departure day and log on and just hang out until they can gate.

There are guys running the 6/2's at Rick's DC that do the same thing. Rick always makes sure that he has a decent amount of hours available on his 6th day (7+) so he can work that day. Those who basically get another layover and go home, are ruining it for a lot of folks. When these programs go away, they will be the first to whine and complain about how horrible WM Transportation is getting. Basically, it is a no win situation for the company.

So when Walmart replaces us with auto driving trucks, you can adjust and adapt by being a greeter. :biggrin_25525:
