Couldn't you just say that you like to respond to talk radio programs? Or that you talk to yourself? No law against crazy, right?

When you going to Swift GWally? I guess you could sleep in their truck for free? Make 40k instead of 90-110... yes, anybody that has been around for awhile knows it is different blah, blah these days. Still good coin for driving a truck no matter how disgruntled you are... you could always go OTR and be a 3-5 week driver? If it is so intolerable, plenty of jobs for ya out there in trucker land...
Having said all of that, UPS sounds fantastic, but certainly has it's caveats as well.Wargames Thanks this. -

Also benefits at ups are top notch. Full paid pension. You get $105 a month for every year you work at ups when you retire(adjusted for inflation). They offer multiple 401k plans, employee discounted stock purchase plan With top notch health insurance with no cost to the employee with no deductible and low out of pocket.
When it comes to compensation ups is at the top of the food chain. I believe above wally. -

Only thing I heard about Walmart is you run 4 on, 3 off rotating. Money is good though.

Make certain that UPS truckload is what you think it is. They have a division that called me a few years back that is NOT the brown shorts division... they haul general freight and are just "owned" or flagshipped under the UPS name.
It's doubtful you'll go from of the street to driving Browns doubles making union wages of $35+/hr when those parcel guys want off those peddle runs as well.
Just be cautious. I think the "sub" UPS is out of Richmond Va if that helps.
