Will you give it a rest? Do you know how many sni drivers have been through the same training and made it through? If he's scared, tell him to go somewhere else. That ####### simple.
Walmart, Regional or OTR?

Maybe mothers should raise their children to man up and put on their big boy pants instead of always blaming someone else for their problems?
I am sorry, but you son KNEW what to expect at orientation and how long he would be with a trainer, if he didn't think he was a big enough boy to handle it he should have went somewhere else. Take some dang personal responsibility. -

Did ya happen to notice Im not a trucker? Did I say he was complaining about training time? nope, I have to drive on roads too just worried about safety, If your not nervous your first time out wouldn't that be a lil odd? And at orientation you don't know how long your going to be with trainer thats up to your trainer, just saying, request more if you need it I hear its improving.

For not being a truck driver you sure do speak from some kind of authority that is nonexistant. I'm pretty sure no one here wants to learn how to be a worried mother so.......
In all honesty I would rail more about and against those companies that treat new drivers as team drivers with the "trainer" in the bunk. Just how safe do you think that is?
You have only second hand account skewed through your worried mother perception. I'm curious though , did it take nlong to put his training wheels back on for him? -
Nah he ended up training his self like the rest of you have to do after 5 days out lol

Course when he gets to be 44 and a smart### Ill plan to quit carein lol

I noticed you weren't a trucker, which begs the question, why are you trying to give advice on a trucking company to people? If I want to know how to be a mom, I will ask you, but you don't know the first thing about Schneider OR trucking. Every(smart) new drivers ASKS how long they will be with a trainer, it is a common sense question, SNI tells you 5 days give or take, so don't give me that BS that he didn't know.

He actually found out training was done when he returned and trainer told him he was done isn't that how that worked for you? I don't think you tell the trainer when your done.

No, that isn't how it worked with me. The recruiter told me before I ever started how long my training was. Then when my trainer picked me up he told me when he was bringing me back barring any problems with my driving.
Seems you and your son didn't ask the right questions and get all the info you needed. I don't blame the company for that.EggoTrucker Thanks this. -
Jesus Christ she is still going isn't she. I'm sick of getting email updates to threads I'm interested in and subscribed to thinking there are actually some decent new posts, but no, it's still more of this crap. Screw it, unsubscribe.

She still rambling on? Wish she'd get it through that thick head of hers that Schneider doesn't train people to drive. If she has issues with the training her son got she needs to take it up with the Truck Driving School he attended!
