Thanks!!
Do you have any info about their road test or any certain way they want there pre-trip to be done?
Do they have manual transmissions or Automatic`s?
Will they cut back miles in January & February due to a slow period or is it steady freight during those two months?
How long is the training period?

Full pre trip. Don't hit nothing during road test.
Haven't had a slow period in a few years.
Indoc is normally two weeks. Your training may vary.Exit310 Thanks this. -

Is Wal-Mart a slip seat company only? I have worked driving for a hardware company for the last 6 years I made $60,000 this last year I have my own company truck, company-paid satellite radio, 10 speed automatic, I'm in my bed at home five nights a week, we have route bids by seniority, so the longer you work there the more routes you have to choose from. I was wondering if the grass was greener on the other side and is it really possible to make 86k without slip seating?

At first, you would slip seat. You can bid on programs that vary: 5 on, 2 off with an assigned truck, 5/2-5/3 work 5, off 2, then work 5 off 3, 6/3 work 6 off 3. My last paycheck of 2018 showed ytd gross of $110k.

Does Walmart hire recent CDL grads? Or do you need experience too. If so how much experience?

30 months experience in the last 3 years

I have a walmart dc one hour from home. I might be able to do it.
The driver facing spycam and the boyscout uniforms are kinda turnoffs though.
I cant understand the uniform deal at all. Nobody ever sees truck drivers and no one cares what they look like. Jeans and a t shirt/polo shirt should be more than adequate. -
