Sounds like another walmart driver marketer has infiltrated yet another thread . Your nobody to tell me if im qualified or not , just a driver so chill buddy.Havent tried applying and I dont want to. Good for you finding a company you like, no need to get all defensive sounding like a #### recruiter and if you are a driver you come out as a douche. Why dont you take walmart nuts however deep they are down your throat and explain to these good people the benefits and pay straight from the horses mouth.( in a less douchey way this time plz)

The insurance is not as good as Union Insurance, but it is still good, and we don't pay a lot for it (it is a lot compared to union insurance). Medical, Dental, Vision. Walmart pays for short term disability and long term disability is available. Multiple other insurances available. 401K with up to 6% company match at 100%. Stock purchase discount. Walmart discount card. Quarterly safety bonus and paid safety day (at full ADP). Personal days, Personal sick days. 1 week vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years (all at full ADP). Defer holidays or pay-out. Paid $42 for each night in sleeper. Paid for all activity on top of all mileage. This usually averages out to somewhere between $0.70 - $0.90 a mile. Yearly raises and when company does well (Walmart Transportation) yearly raises from that also. No pushing, no forced dispatch, no pressure. If you feel conditions are not safe, stop. You are the Captain of your own ship. Etc.

Mr Big, did this answer your last snarky post well enough??

The fact is wal-mart transportation is run completely different from the Stores. Transportation is it's own business unit for wal-mart. They are rated a top rated company to drive for in the world. They have excellent pay excellent benefits and a extremely low turn over rate as far as drivers. That is why they can and are so selective in the drivers they hire. Now the retail side is a disgrace with the way they treat employees. But as I said transportation is it's own business unit for Wal-Mart.

The fact is Wal-Mart Transportation chooses who drives for them, It is why they have drivers who have waited years for the opportunity and when they get that opportunity they generally stay until retirement. Average length of service at wal-mart trans is more than 10 years. BTW I have absolutely know affiliation with Wal-Mart in any way as I feel Wal-Mart as a Company is absolutely disgraceful in all areas except for Wal-Mart Transportation.

    Raise every year on

I may have forgotten some things. But as you can see if you can't get into Walmart. Maybe the union of Teamsters is a option so you can get paid what you should.

This was by no means a shot at Walmart it's just a comparison of the two. It's honestly pretty #### close some are better then others, but if money out weighs it all I'm not scared to say Walmart probably is better starting off.

So like I said, don't meet their expectations and qualifications try the union. Good luck!

You do come off like a recruiter not a very good one either i might add. You come out defending a company, youd think I was " bashing your wife or daughter" . You come at me with no facts, just a " theres other threads a to z bullcrep" the only problem we are not in those threads. Its funny to see wally and you get your panties in knot over this .Well at least wally wife provided some facts Its no secret walmart doesnt do well with their "employees" they hire more people to not givebenefits as a full time employee instead are considered part time . I grant there are exceptions here and there , but that is no secret and unless you provide facts you are irrelevant.
