Hi All, just want to say hi and thanks for all your posts, I'm learning a lot. I'm looking at going to school either at my local community college or Star truck driving school. (I'm in the Chicago area). After that, I'm not sure. Right now I'm driving a school bus. I've also driven a cab, limo, and parts truck. I've also been a stay at home mom and worked 6 years in an office (for General Motors). I hate working in an office and I love driving but need more money than what I can get driving a bus.

Sorry posted before I finished!!
It gives you a little more leverage. Plus many companies recruit from the schools, so you may land a job before you even graduate. Good luck! -
Thanks, Pound Puppy
It's looking like I'm probably going to qualify for a WIA grant, so that's good. If so, it will pay up to $7000 which is more than enough for the schools around here.
Pound Puppy Thanks this. -
Welcome to the party!
