Depends on where you're delivering or picking up.
You learn time management and will then know how many hours it takes to get to the destination. -
-
Depends on if you run over the road, local, regional. I usually do no more than eight myself.

It ain't so much a question of how many hours I drive, more like miles. I like to keep it in the 500ish or less range daily. I'll drive more if need be. I like to pace myself. If you drive for a company that will squeeze your clock til it farts, you better learn to pace yourself. Sometimes you'll end up on recaps and you'll have to somewhatook ahead so you'll keep getting hours back in the event you can't reset. Once you start driving, you'll learn all about hours of service.
