No. 10 years is max everywhere. However check your state laws. They might not let you.

Your best bet would be to call various trucking companies and have them tell you, in advance, to avoid spending money at a CDL school, just in case the answer is no.
Good luck!

Nothing to worry about.
There may be an exception here and there but it won't be an issue most anywhere.Jessicalaurell Thanks this. -
id say no it wont stop you 22 years is a long time and as long as you there isnt anything recent ..know trucking isnt all that peachy has bad times and good times your first company will most likely be a bottom feeder but stick with them for at least 6 months to a year a year is way better more doors will open for you after 1 yr OTR

I thought that as well but I had a company do a 20 year driving record check.

It depends on the company. Some say 7,10, and never. You don't know unless you check with the company.

Absolutely not.... Get a copy of your MVR first, make sure it isn't on there....if it is, let the DMV know you want your MVR "purged", wait 30 days, call DMV to make sure it was purged, go get a NEW copy of your CLEAN MVR, and then have fun studying to get your CDL
