    I have not been to school in quite some time but I think the apostrophe s would show possession. Either way I think he's ready for a CDL's.

    One CDL one world. lolz. //sarcasm.

    The days of multiple Class A's died with the new CDL laws in the early 90's

    CDL is not a possessive noun. It is incorrect to add apostrophe S to the end.

    First person speech will almost never need an apostrophe S. For example saying “my cdl” is always correct.

    Singular possessive would require apostrophe S. For example “Bob’s CDL” would be correct. “Bob has CDL’s” would only be correct if he had more than one.

    I was thinking for an example " my CDL's wallet is kept in my Pocket." As stupid as that sounds I think that works.

    What you are saying is, your commercial drivers license owns a wallet.

    Apostrophe also shows a contraction.

    A common one I see misused so much is your and you're:

    Your = possession
    You're = you are
