And as you can see most all TMC drivers have a big ego trip cause they drive the black and chrome

Well the good thing about the percentage pay is you don't have to be a senior driver to make top pay. If you do good, keep your mpg high, arrive on time, keep your truck kleen and don't mess around then you can make top pay in as little as 6 months. But I also hear if you don't wash your truck and keep the inside messy, then when you get to a terminal and they want to look at your truck they'll fire you for not having it kleen. For me I like having a kleen truck, I'm proud to be the few that delivers America. You'll hear a kleen truck is a non workin truck and a dirty one is a workin truck. To me when someone says that, I just think their lazy and don't take care of their truck, especially when the company pays for the wash. Their percentage pay works on a sliding pay scale. You also can run with cpm but I hear it don't pay as much unless you have been there for awhile. As far as starting pay, from what I hear you can take home 1000 a week on avg. This is what I know from the research I've done, so that being said remember to take every thing a trucker says with a grain of salt and you'll do just fine.

    Keep on Truckin

I hear you, haven't been to Canada professionally yet, and don't see any reason to yet.... but with 9/11 events and living in Michigan the chance to work locally is an option when I'm ready so I figured to get my passport before the rush, back in 2007... just in case I REALLY want to go. :D

    Drive safe.

Sorry I wasn't trying to come off as a jerk I just refuse to go to canada. So far the 2 years I have been here I have seen no need to have to go to canada for money

I didn't know I was on an ego trip for not wanting to go to canada. I don't see any person that works here on an ego trip because we drive black and chrome trucks. I'm only here because of the money and because I enjoy what I do

After your first 6 months or so you can expect to bring home a paycheck of anywhere from 800 to 1000 a week on average

I guess it depends on who you drive for or if it's worth it to you as an O/O, but usually I suspect there is. Here the draw is money/job/hometime.
