Never thought you were being a jerk milskired, I agree with you. I don't have to go to Canada to make money and haven't had to, I just got it in case I really do want to go. :D Wasn't trying to insinuate you were, sorry if you took it that way.

Exactly why I got it. Wasn't sure during our recent economic downturn what would be needed to work, so got what ever I thought would help, and passport and TWIC were both things I acquired before I hit the road.

    Oh and Semper Fi.

I don't understand why people will get on here and get off subject and start a debate about something that has nothing to do with the thread y'all are debating on. A person is asking for advice and noting is really said to help the person out who started the thread. I mean if y'all want to argue why not just private message each other and go at it?

Im thinking maybe people start this drama just to make life more interesting? It's sad I look at a lot of threads here and almost 90precent have this drama on it and not what the original subject was. Maybe they should make a drama section for that it's just a lot of people are coming here for info and networking , not drama . But whom am I to say I'm just a newbie ...

No your exactly rite. What I think is going on is all the drivers out there bored with down time can't find anyone to talk all their drama to on the CB, will get on here and start. I've been on here reading a bunch myself and now finally getting involved in posting and asking my own questions and this is mainly what I see, all this bickering back and forth, beating around the question in hand. Kinda like this answer, which didn't really answer your question.

We were mainly talking about TMC so this answer should have been directed towards that company. Well good luck with your ventures into a Truckers Life and have a good day.

The subject at least lent itself to the subject and surrounding aspects of it. Like the OP was asking about how to get started, that happens to be a pretty broad area to explore and explain.

So if you two think your posts actually lent itself to being anything more than the drama you're espousing that you disdain, then you have just become the targets of your own posts.

    Enjoy the shame.

So Kash Your previous comment of black and chrome drivers being on an ego trip I guess have everything to do with the subject of this thread correct? If the OP Has any questions pertaining to TMC I would be more than happy to answer them.

And again we're getting off subject here but I was just pointing out the fact about all the drama in this thread that has nothing to do with the questions in hand.

13 bang bang. Why not look into low enforcement. What vehicles are on your 348. If your master driver was nice he hooked you up. Take your 348 and a memo signed by your commander to FL, OK, TX or check for other states and you can get your cdl. Male sure you establish residency first. I did mine in Ok. It was easy since I was already a resident. I can send you a memo for you to tweek in needed. I am currently a DFO at CRST Malone. About to get a truck of my own. Maybe 2. It's not too bad here. I am sure there are better but I know there are worse.
