Yeah, we have those, except they arent lumber. They are aluminum extrusions...anywhere from 1 to 15 stops, everyone is a tarp/untarp/retarp blah blah blah. Not fun, but I still love this job!
I understand your point dth and please don't take what i said as an insult to you because that isnt how i meant it. That load pictured on my last load was a load of hay bales so I certainly see what you mean by gaps in the load. As noggin said we all know the dangers when we take this job just like guys who ride motorcycles know everytime they get on one could be their last. I guess I was a door swinger so long and was getting on the border line of diabetes for lack of excersize and always eating. Flat bed keeps me moving wheather I want to or not. Woul;dnt have it any other way.
