How does this pay work? Is it just pay that you get while you sit waiting for next load assignment? Is there a particular amount of time you have to sit? Are you as the driver required to keep track of this in order to get paid or is it being tracked by the company and they add it into your pay?

    Thank you

Starts from the time you are on the board.

You must remain on the board.

Go over 48 hrs until the next dispatch you get $60

Now up to $75 though or on 22nd... I forget...

Add 75 for each 24 hrs after that.

If you have a good on terms fm he will not dispatch you until your appointment time. Could be the difference between getting paid or another day.

You sit 2days here for free.

    It sucks.... -.-

When are you supposed to be asleep?

Stay up for two straight days?

If you are worried about layover pay then you are working for the wrong company

Most companies do not pay layover or breakdown pay for Sunday either. Not sure about Conway.

I had at least 1 a month -- usually something like a 1000 mile load on Thursday that delivered Monday. Of course there were also a number of times I sat 48+ hours waiting for a delivery appointment, but was denied layover because they go by 45mph dispatch speed and not when you actually show up.

So you are not compensated if you are early but you are in trouble if you like 15 mins late. Is this a standard in the industry?

Well if we are gonna go by dy standards.

    I've had 5000000000009millionthousand layovers.

I'd rather sit an entire day than have a 300 mile live on both ends. That's just me though.

    And yes.

A few otr companies will give you a 20 or something as soon as you hit the first dock.
