It seems like almost everyone in this thread didn't read the whole story.
He didn't get fired for curbing a tire.
He got fired because he admitted to backing up on a public roadway without police assistance when he called to report the tire.

Well.....I would not worry about how it is worded. Its only 1. You're inexperienced and things like this are expected to happen. Its all a learning experience. Don't have a meltdown, just relax and assess every turn. Next company on the radar is..... .
