Much obliged on the suggestions. I'll have to call around and confirm about testing on a automatic. As that would be a no no for me. I've seen Jim palmer and Wilson mentioned several times on here. I've heard good and bad on prime so any opinions there are welcomed. If anyone can think of other companies that might work let me know. I'm currently holding off on putting in applications till I get my ged, but hopefully I'll have that Wednesday. I'll keep yall updated on that.
A few companies train on stick shifts, but no pet policy or other fancy driver comfort amenities. I don' t keep up with the stick shift outfits because they're becoming few and far between.
Like I said I can call and verify for myself tomorrow if they test on a stick. I understand but I don't how you keep up with as much as you do. Personally I'd rather learn to and drive a stick my first year so I have the experience. However times is a changing and they claim automatics are the future. I just don't want the restriction on my license. Appreciate the help.

Good idea, call and verify what transmission is used for training. You can buy a GED online and not have to deal with that pesky homework and classes. Can get the transcripts also that show the subjects taken and the grades you made.
I don't trust Wikipedia P.S. I'm from Tennessee, close to the Kentucky line on I-65. Immigrated, legally, to Nevada about 2 yrs. ago.
Well I just took 2 of the 4 test today and passed them so I figure I've come this far why cheat myself.
While on the topic of schooling any idea how difficult it would be to get financing to put myself through cdl school. They ain't no way I could afford it outright
