I know I'm a pest. I might be able to get funding for the 120 hour course at the Elizabethtown community college. a 120 hour school and graduating with my cdl if so would most companies overlook that I've held my regular license less than a year?

Here's a job in Louisville driving non-cdl box truck and pays $49K per year.
Once you get a cdl, and move to tractor-trailer, starting pay is about $81K per year.

Told yall I would keep you updated I went a passed my GED today. So I'm now a Generally Educated #######. I'm waiting to hear back from a man about financing for cdl school. If it falls through I might try a different school a bit further away, they also have financing but I have to have 3 prehires.
BigDog Trucker Thanks this. -
Id say as long as they have no choice over which one you go to. Get a prehire from one or two you really like and just pick the rest as throw aways. There are many that would gladly give you a pre hire.

Also, its entirely possible, that if you went with them. You could probably chose a different one later (in case you found a better carrier). If they are just doing this to prove you have a job already secured.
