Wanting to get my CDL

I had another, very brief conversation about it last night with him. He's "not cool" with me being gone a week at a time...shoot it'll be more than a week! So he couldn't even deal if I DID do a week out and had weekends off. He asks, will he have to quit his job cuz he has to leave at 6am to go to work and who will watch his kids or get them to the sitter or on the bus when school starts. And then he added he wants to be able to see each other.
I explained about getting out of debt, actually being able to save money with both incomes, a decent future, about sometimes people have to make sacrifices..but to no avail. So I changed the subject and he said nothing further either.

 

I think so too. He asked what if I had a job where I was gone all the time..I said well I would be supportive of it and that's true. He actually had an offer for a job where he'd be gone a few days a week and I was like go for it. He doesn't like taking risks and things have to be his way.
