    Hey everyone.

    I was at ups and that didn't work out
    Long story. But I'm about to start with ward and I was wondering if anyone had the inside scoop. All I know is the pay starts at $27.79 here in Buffalo NY. But I'm not sure if the hours are there. My goal is to try and put my time in for linehaual. They said that's a six figure job. Which Im the breadwinner of my family.

    Appreciate any information

    I have offers from XPO and ward. I'm not sure what to do. In Buffalo NY XPO starts at 22.50 and ward is 27.79 . I'm not sure what to do.

    Yes I got a offer too with ward but from what it sounds like to me is its on call work. They call every morning for you to come in. I'm not to comfortable with on call type of work. Pay seems good and hours just on call doesn't sound healthy.

    Do you know how long it takes too get off on call? Or is this a permanent thing.

    I honestly have no idea and kinda scared me away from the offer. He did say he hasn't had anyone not come in for work but I just don't wanna take that risk again like I did with ups cartage. I left fedex express after 5yrs to go to ups thinking I did a great thing n that back fired on me. So still looking for a stable company I can hang around long term with.

    Great, I already took the offer. My goal is too put my time in the city and hopefully get a linehaual gig with them. The guy hired before me took it. So I guess we'll see. I turned down XPO for ward.

    Yea I wish you the best. I'm kinda on the fence with Mohawk Industries. I had a offer with them.

    I heard pretty good things about them. Just don't know if you get to manually unload the carpets and everything. Probably get a great workout which too me is always a plus.
