Yes, lease trailers tend to be junky! but when you have a personal experience like myself leasing trailers from Xtra Lease from 2004 through 2006 and during that time make dozens of inquiries to Xtra Lease about abnormal tire ware and alignment problems to only get the typical "Dog and Pony" show it gets expensive. The Meritor suspensions I had under my Xtra Lease lease trailers has had a secret repair recall since the late 90's available to only a select few and the lessee wasn't one of them. Xtra Lease will deny any knowledge of it but when I've asked the repair vendors I got some very damaging information. I have it here for the asking.

Since the late 90's Meritor suspensions have had a serious suspension problem. Xtra lease among other trailer lessors have known about it. The unsuspecting Lessee is never warned. The trailers were supposed to be returned to a qulified vendor for the recall repair paid for by Meritor, very much like toyota's problems. Only Toyota's recall was made public and had the government on the side for the buyer or the lessee of these vehicles. Myself and others did not!

My post was in response to this RRHAWLEY guy...Honestly!
Who cares if X-TRA lease is monitoring this site? They're just a friggin' leasing co. -

Gentleman, I agree but what I'm asking for is your assistance as former customers to contact me or provide a way for me to contact you by phone or e-mail. I'm currently in ligitation wiht Xtra Lease and they have the gaul to charge me for the trailers plagued with the Meritor suspensions that were defective and cost me thousands to try and repair them at my expense. Their not happy that they almost put me out of business, now there suing me for the deliberate and damaging situation they put me in.
If you can't offer any help, please stay out of the discussion.
