The business end isn’t run thru Subway. The franchise owner is responsible for all the insurance needed and the business license and such.

Why should you care if Jeff Bezoes pays zero in taxes? That doesn't affect your life one iota if he pays zero in taxes or 10 billion in taxes. The government doesn't need his money and the tax code is set up so Jeff Bezos and everyone else can exploit the loopholes. The way to fix that is a flat tax on everyone if you really think taxation is necessary. Not 10,000 more pages of tax code no-one will read but that Jeff Bezoes will continue to use gaming the system.

And this idea of big corporations not paying any taxes is a stupid shell game to get people riled up. If you levy taxes on a corporation they're just going to pass that cost on to all of the idiots saying "yeah let's stick it to the rich!!!". Congress can create multi trillion dollar spending bills that have no grounding in reality of the tax revenue they are bringing in. They far surpass spending way more than they bring in. And they do it to no consequence. Like I said, they don't need tax revenue from anyone. They can spend it and create it out of thin air no problem.

The dollar as a currency is so devalued now it’s almost worthless.

Really, so you can't buy anything with it right now? This is the same stuff everyone was saying back in 2008. That hyperinflation is about to happen. I'll believe it when I see it. So far all the helicopter money seems to be working just fine.

Rosa Kiore calls it, "Corporatacracy" in her book Behind The Green Mask. It's clever and accurate IMO.

I was quoted $18.5k a couple years ago, 23yrs experience with a spotless record. I'm sure it would be more now, especially with a new driver in the truck.

See the documentary, "IOUSA" for an explanation to how our system works. The dollar has been losing it's value over time. Inflation is the devaluation of the currency. It's called a fiat currency system. Ron Paul's book, End The Fed breaks it down very well. The dollar has never one single time regained it's value after it has gone down. There are tons of sources to see the history of the value of our currency. Every failed country throughout human history has traveled the same exact path to its collapse. We are no different.

The value of our currency is intended to go down, because mild inflation discourages hoarding of cash and encourages investment. One of the things we learned from our decades on the gold standard is the fact that when the value of the currency rises, then hoarding currency becomes a viable investment strategy which competes with other forrms of investment, with the typical end result being an economic crash once you reach the point where nobody wants to spend any money on anything.
