Most major ports. No Twic or clearance that they need, you will not even get past the gate.
Try going to a Nuke plant.
Alot of the army bases are solo also.
Steel mills, some are that way also.

Most Weyerhaeuser Lumber mills are that way. No non-cdl passengers allowed in. I forget the name of it, but there is a big steel mill in Midlothian, Tx. where you can't even take a trainee out in the yard loading. 1 person per truck, period. Anyone else has to wait in scale office.

I do run some ports, but not all are the same . (ie) Morehead City, Nc they do ask, but as long as you tell them, its seems to be ok. New Orleans port never been asked, front gate quick look at your twic and thats it. Savannah Georgia, will ask, and if you get caught trying to hide a rider the port police will arest you, and off to jail, under the homeland security act. All goodyear production plants will ask,and some will inspect your sleeper. The only one i have seen do this are the houston chemical plant. -
I've only had my truck searched at the Red River Army Depot in Texas.

LA ports. No riders. Period. Since early '07 they've been REAL serious about it.

Ever run into a shipper or receiver that has something saying no guns allowed?
So what happens if you do have one, like I do? Some places like to search for that kind of stuff.
So far I just hide it really good, but if you got one and tell them you have it what do you think they will say? You have to leave? -
They will hold your weapon at the guard shack and return it to you on the way out. At least that's what Freeport Tx. did with mine, they also checked my carry permit.
Tazz Thanks this. -
Exxon Mobile, Beaumont, TX. Will go into your truck looking for guns, knives, dogs, passengers, drugs and alcohol.
You have to leave your dog tied to the fence and any passengers including your codriver in a little bus stop shelter across from the guard shack. 110* outside? Hurricane on its way? Tough s***. -
Why the hell would you have your Ex. wife with you anyway?

I do not believe that I would allow anyone to search my truck, other than actual law enforcement. Joe Schidt the security guard, probably rejected from the police academy, wanna be cop that couldn't cut it, is NOT going to get inside my tractor. And as for leaving passengers/pet outside, it ain't gonna happen.
The company can just make other arrangements. Or not. I flatly would not pick up or deliver there.revelation1911, Injun, kajidono and 1 other person Thank this. -
Looking for an appropriate hiding place for the body?
ironeagle2006 and Big Don Thank this.
