You are exactly right.

Don't blame the owner. Blame the driver that thinks he can park anywhere he wants.

State of emergency..........

Their are some Walmarts with designated truck parking. But if it were me guessing on it. I'm sure ain't many of them around. 80% of the public in the U.S. hate truck drivers. To include upper management in Bentonville. Drivers continue to trash and damage Walmart parking lots. So dont expect any mercy from them because of the national parking shortage.

Not usually, I owned a donut franchise, I also owned the lot next to it, drivers trashed it so bad I closed it, they continued to park, I contracted to a tow company, they towed them and I never saw any money.Lonesome Thanks this.

Walmart owns some of their properties and leases others. It is not uncommon for any company in retail like them to do so. Here is an excerpt from their 2019 annual report.
We own office facilities in Bentonville, Arkansas, that serve as our principal office and own and lease office facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally for operations as well as for field and market management. The land on which our stores are located is either owned or leased by the Company. We use independent contractors to construct our buildings. All store leases provide for annual rentals, some of which escalate during the original lease or provide for additional rent based on sales volume. Substantially all of the Company's store and club leases have renewal options, some of which include rent escalation clauses.
Here is their tenant profile from an online service.
Now, let's get back to arguing about things that can't be proven.

No, there are exceptions to every rule. Like a broken clock being right twice a day. If you look back further in this thread you'll see the link to Walmart's Real estate division and how they do it. I will acknowledge this is an exception to their practice. Might have been a location they couldn't get the real estate. As is there SOP.
